Enshrine

Cookie Policy

Last Updated: March 6, 2026

1. Overview

Enshrine is a mobile application. Unlike traditional websites, mobile apps do not use browser cookies. Instead, we and our third-party partners use equivalent technologies — such as local device storage, session tokens, and device identifiers — to operate the Service and understand how it is used.

This policy explains what those technologies are, why we use them, and how you can control them.

2. Who We Are

1st Grade Dynamics operates Enshrine. For questions about this policy, contact: compliance@1stgradedyna.store

3. Technologies We Use

3.1 Local Device Storage (Strictly Necessary)

We store essential data on your device using your operating system's secure local storage (Android SharedPreferences / iOS NSUserDefaults). These cannot be disabled without breaking core app functionality.

Data Stored Purpose Duration
Session token Keeps you logged in to your account Until sign-out or expiry
Auth refresh token Renews your session without re-login Until sign-out
App preferences Stores settings such as theme and notification preferences Until app uninstall or manual clear
Location consent flag Records whether you have granted location permission Until app uninstall

3.2 Supabase (Backend Services)

Our backend is provided by Supabase (Supabase Inc.). Supabase processes authentication, database queries, real-time messaging, and file storage on our behalf. Supabase logs server-side events including API requests, authentication events, and error reports for security and operational purposes.

Supabase acts as a data processor under a Data Processing Agreement with us. Their privacy policy is available at: https://supabase.com/privacy

3.3 In-App Purchases (Platform Billing)

All purchases are processed directly through your device's app store platform:

We do not receive or store your full payment card details. Purchase records (subscription status, transaction IDs) are shared with us by the platform to manage your account.

3.4 Location Services

When you grant location permission, your device's GPS is used to determine your approximate location for proximity-based matching. Location data is processed on-device and transmitted to our servers only to calculate distances. We do not use any third-party location SDK. You can revoke location permission at any time in your device settings.

3.5 Device Identifiers (Advertising — Not Currently Active)

We do not currently run advertising campaigns or use advertising SDKs. If we introduce advertising in the future (e.g., via Google Ads for Google Play), we will update this policy before doing so and provide opt-out controls. At that time, your device's advertising identifier may be used:

You can reset or opt out of ad tracking at any time:

4. What We Do Not Use

To be transparent about what is not in our app:

5. Your Choices

Clearing Local Storage

You can clear all locally stored app data through your device settings:

Note: Clearing app data will sign you out and reset your preferences.

Location Permission

You can revoke location permission at any time:

Advertising Identifiers

Even though we do not currently use advertising identifiers, you can opt out proactively:

6. Consent

Enshrine is available only in the United States and Canada. Our use of local storage for session, authentication, and preference data is strictly necessary to operate the Service and requires no separate consent.

If we later introduce non-essential tracking (for example, analytics SDKs or advertising identifiers for Google Play ads), we will update this policy and present a clear opt-in before activating those technologies.

7. Updates to This Policy

We will update this policy before introducing any new tracking technologies. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification.
